Life is alive in everything, You can hear it in the birds that sing. The Sun has taken back its power. It warms the breeze and encourages bulbs to flower. This past year there has been misinformation which has increased our nations division Yet we have worn masks, practiced social distance. The world seems to have gone insane As we have tried to cope with our pain. We have said goodbye to loved ones. When COVID took away our fun Then the power went out when the ice storm came. And everyone was in the same game. Politicians claimed others were to blame. Common people helped without even knowing their name. Even so, we have survived. We are strong, resilient and we are alive. God will protect us. God will resurrect us. Let us remember forgiveness is divine. So, open your heart and let your light shine.
